This Autumn (and every other one), we are living for a Autumnal, chunky knit jumper (or sweater if you’re from the US).
The rich, Autumnal colouring and the heaviness of the chunky knit both lend themselves perfectly to a cosy, Autumn fashion must-have.
Oversize Cosy Jumpers
Whether it’s a vintage oversize jumper or a freshly knit one, the oversize jumper is a staple Autumn feature.
You can accessorize it so many ways, from leggings to jeans or no trousers at all. With leather boots or converse. It’s so easy to dress your jumper up or down depending on your needs and the temperature!
The Biggest Cardigans you can Find
I considered the heading for this section being better worded, but really let’s be honest. We want the biggest, snuggliest, oversized cardigans we can find!
These Autumn fashion must-haves will never go out of style, because as soon as one does someone creates a more suitable alternative. Long live the cardigan!
Cosy Autumn Coats
Your Autumn coat can either be an additional layer of a full look, or it can be the pièce de résistance.
Either add a coat to numerous pieces of interesting, Autumn layers to create a fully layered look, or keep it as the main piece to liven up a basic outfit.
Really it depends on where you’re going. You may, for example, be going out for a meal, so aren’t going to leave your coat on for long in this situation, so you’ll think about your outfit underneath too. However, if you’re going to an outdoor event or meet, then you’re going to need to stay warm, and your coat will be the main piece of clothing on display.
All of the Autumn Scarves
The bigger, the better. A scarf is a perfect addition to any Autumn wardrobe. You can dress them up or down depending on the event, and keep warm. They can look well dressed. Really there’s no end to the simple yet effective scarf’s charm.
Boots
If anything completes a cosy, layered, Autumn look, it’s the leather boot.
The hue adds to the Autumnal mood, and the boots themselves tend to be useful in the muddier weather. But really what we love them for are their gorgeousness, right?!
Chunky Socks
Dual purpose. Chunky socks are both stylish and keep our toes warm during the cooler seasons. I for one am a lover of the chunky sock.
